Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of hierarchy of needs theory on psychological status and sexual function of patients with uterine fibroids.Methods One hundred of patients with uterine fibroids in our hospital were divided into the observation group and the control group,the control group was given conventional care,the observation group was given hierarchy of needs theory for care on the basis of the control group,the two groups were compared with postoperative mental status and sexual function.Results The improvement degree of depression in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05 ).Sexual function in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions Hierarchical of needs theory can improve the nursing level,reduce uterine fibroid patients＇ anxiety,depressed mood,and improve patients＇postoperative sexual function.
