Abstract

Objective To observe the application effect of comprehensive project nursing in hysteromyoma patients. Methods Totally 68 hysteromyoma patients admitted from January 2015 to December 2016 were enrolled in this study. All patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 34 cases in each. The control group was given routine nursing care, while the observation group was given comprehensive nursing project. The postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function, clinical situation and complications were compared between the two groups. The psychological state at admission and discharge, the quality of sleep and the compliance of medical and nursing management were observed. Patients' satisfaction with nursing work were investigated and compared. Results All the indicators of gastrointestinal function in the observation group were recovered earlier than those in the control group, and the clinical observation indexes in the observation group were better than those in the control group. All the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) . The psychological state of the two groups before discharge, the compliance of nursing treatment and the quality of sleep were all improved, and the evaluation indexes of the observation group were superior to those of the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05) . In the observation group, there were 21 satisfied cases, 12 mostly satisfied cases and 1 not satisfied case, while there were 12, 17, 5 cases in the control group respectively (Z=-2.382, P=0.017) . The total incidence of postoperative complications was 5.88% in the observation group, which was significantly lower than 35.29% in the control group (χ2=8.995, P=0.003) . Conclusions The comprehensive nursing project can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in uterine fibroids patients after surgery, alleviate the psychological pressure of patients, improve patients' sleep quality and compliance of treatment and nursing care, reduce incidence of postoperative complications, so as to improve the satisfaction of patients with nursing work overall.
