Abstract

The low and medium frequency signal generator with high precision and high stability is widely used in experiment courses, mechanical, engineering and other fields. In order to meet the special needs of these fields, this paper puts forward a design scheme of signal generator based on DDS. Combined with the advantage of virtual instrument technology, the user can set the signal parameters on PC control panel made by LabVIEW. And the lower computer can generate kinds of signals with specific frequency, phase and amplitude efficiently. The experiment results show that the design scheme introduced in this paper can accurately produce sine wave, square wave, triangle wave within 0.1 Hz to 1 M Hz frequency and this design has been successfully applied to the experiment courses in colleges and universities.
