Abstract
The reliability of operation of the main pumps is one of the most important in the pipeline transportation. In most cases, the failure of the unit is preceded by a sharp increase in the level of vibration. With a long service life of the pumping equipment, the frequency components of the vibration increase linearly and slowly enough with time, and then a strong increase in the oscillations begins, which ends in failure. The article is devoted to the analysis of the reasons for the high level of vibration of pipings, in particular during resonance with the disturbing frequency of main line pumps. The causes of vibration of pipings of the main line pumps and the influence of frequency regulation on the level of vibration of the main line pump are analyzed. Under the condition of frequency regulation of the operating modes of the pumping unit, the rotor speed can approach or coincide with the natural frequency of the straining vibrations.
