Abstract
We are excited to introduce the World Sustainable Construction Conference (WSCC 2024), where another series of enriching conferences awaits us this year. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, with support from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Beijing Jiaotong University, Brawijaya University, Syiah Kuala University, and the University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. The World Sustainable Construction Conference which was held at the Seri Pacific Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 18th and 19th, 2024. WSCC 2024 successfully attracted participants from across the region, including Malaysia, Pakistan, China, Algeria, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, and Morocco. The conference included four keynote lectures presented by Dato’ Ir. Rozman Mohamad, Dato’ Seri Darwis Abdul Razak, Associate Professor Dr. Li ChaoChao, and Associate Professor Dr. Mohamad Idris Ali. As anticipated, we received more than 110 submitted papers, and our committed reviewers worked diligently to ensure that only the highest-quality research and technical papers were selected for presentation and publication. In line with the conference theme, “Technology Synergy for a Sustainable Future” WSCC 2024 successfully provided a platform to discuss key issues, challenges, opportunities, and emerging technologies.
