Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the degree of school administration empowerment of the educational consultants as well as to indicate the extent of its reflection on their job performance in the northern region within the Green Line. It also demonstrates and promotes the correlation between the degree of the educational consultants’ empowerment and the level of the educational counselors' performance with the governmental school counselors in the northern region within the line. The study implements the relational-survey descriptive approach, using the questionnaire to achieve the study objectives. This sample includes all members of the study community, principals and consultants, with (170) respondents, comprising 115 counsellors, and (55) school principals. The results showed that the degree of school administration empowerment of educational consultants from the point of view of the principals and educational counselors were high. Besides, the results also showed that the level of the performance of the educational counselors from the members’ perspective of the study were high too. Statistically, there was a significant correlation (a<0.05) between the administrative empowerment and authorization to the educational counselors in their job performance.
