Abstract

Objective To analyze cerebellar hemorrhage in the CT and clinical manifestations. Methods To analyze pathogenesis, cltnical symptoms, CT manifestations, treat-ment and prognosis of 48 patients with cerebellar hemorrhage retrospectively. Results The disease was particularly prevalent in elderly patients (More than 60-year-old) and Hyperten-sive arteriosclerosis is the main cause of the disease. To many young and middle-aged patients (Less than 40-year-old) ,Arteriovenous malformations is the main cause. The main clinical manifestations were headache, vomiting, ataxia, speech impairment. Prognosis is closely related to the amount of bleeding, bleeding site, hematoma is breaking into the fourth ventricle, and brainstem compression. Conclusion Cerebellar hemorrhage in the CT diagnosis of attention should be paid to bleeding site, bleeding volume, ventricle involvement, mass effect. Less bleeding leads to good prognosisand the amount of bleeding is greater than 15 milliliters leads to poor prognosis. Key words: Cerebral hemorrhage; Cerebellar; CT; Surgical treatment
