Abstract

In the traditional translation teaching, lectures and discussions are in the "vacuum" mode. Social and cultural properties of translation are ignored. Students are trained to be the translation machines lacking subjective initiative. In this case, information technology with the characteristics of situation, interactivity, multidimensionality, sociality, timeliness and openness offers us a new perspective of re-examining translation teaching. Under the guidance of constructivism learning theory and, this paper attempts to study 3 translation teaching links: the preparations before class, classroom teaching and the reinforcement after class. New teaching mode will help improve the students' translation quality & information literacy and cater for the requirement of the quality education and information society.
