Abstract

This article aims to provide an overview of the challenges of the disruption era and its impact on Islamic educational institutions today. The era of disruption presents a variety of rapid changes that initially occur in the business world and industrial sector, then penetrate into various sectors of human life. There are various impacts that need to be overcome in order to bring more optimal results in accordance with the target of educational activities. Measurable adaptive steps need to be taken by Islamic education institutions to respond to this super-fast disruption. This article answers the question of how the challenges of educational disruption and how Islamic educational institutions should respond with a good and maximum anticipatory and adaptive approach. The method of writing this article is descriptive qualitative based on a library research approach. From the data analysis, several alternative formulas are offered to develop the management of Islamic education institutions in responding to educational disruption. The management in question includes governance, human resource management, optimization of educational facilities and educational actors, namely educators, education personnel and students.
