Abstract

This paper proposes an upper division business course, The Business Core Application Seminar, which supports three related notions in business education: integrated learning, active learning and the development of soft skills. The course described has been delivered at a major midwestern university for many years and was recently recognized in an AACSB competition as utilizing creative and unique strategies for advancing the quality of education in business schools.
