Abstract
The translation of English movie titles exerts a direct influence on the publicity of that movie. This paper attempts to explain the aesthetic principle in the translation of English movie titles by introducing the beauty of meaning, pronunciation, sentence pattern and folklore. In this paper, the importance of the aesthetic principle in translation process is emphasized through some examples of the translation of English Movie Titles. It is expected to draw the translation community’s attention.
