Abstract
The decree of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the USSR Council of Ministers on measures for further improving working conditions in the rural general-education school emphasizes its significance in the fulfillment of the tasks posed by the Twenty-fourth Congress of the CPSU in the realm of social, economic, and cultural construction and in overcoming significant differences between town and countryside. This document is an example of the paternal concern of the Party and the government for the rural family and of the rendering of maximum assistance to rural working people in the rearing of their children.
