Abstract

Two3Πgstates of Na2have been observed in the 35 000–38 000 cm−1energy region by pulsed perturbation facilitated optical–optical double resonance (PFOODR) fluorescence excitation spectroscopy and assigned to the 5dπ and 6dπ (the fourth and sixth according to the energy rank at Re)3ΠgRydberg states, respectively. Molecular constants and RKR potential curves are reported.
