Abstract

The triplet Rydberg states of 7Li2 have been studied by pulsed perturbation facilitated optical-optical double resonance (PFOODR) fluorescence excitation spectroscopy via three mixed A1Σ+u ∼ b3Πu, intermediate levels. Twenty-one vibrational levels of the 23Πg state, 6 vibrational levels of the 13Δg state, and more than 40 PFOODR transitions into other triplet Rydberg states have been observed. Molecular constants and the RKR potential energy curve of the 7Li2 23Πg state have been obtained.
