Abstract
The papers presented at the Twelfth International Conference on Coastal Engineering demonstrated that important results have been obtained in recent years, which are definitely of scientific and practical interest. These results can be utilized for further improving our country's engineering methods for computing the parameters of waves and wave phenomena in harbors, wave and ice loadings on various hydraulic structures and floating bodies, and sediment transport in the coastal zone.
