Abstract
A technique has been developed for spectral examination of sub-milligramme amounts of solid compounds. The absorption spectra of curium(IV) fluoride and americium(IV) fluoride have been measured. A Cary Model 14M Recording Spectrophotometer was used to record the spectra over the region 3500–20,000 Å.
