Abstract

Spin tensor moments 〈 T 20 〉, 〈 T 21 〉, 〈 T 22 〉 and the absolute differential cross sections for the 9Be(d, d)9Be elastic scattering measured at low deuteron energies are compared with the theoretical calculations based on the optical model containing spin-orbit and tensor T R interactions. The Hauser-Feshbach statistical theory has been used to account for the compound nucleus processes.
