Abstract

The Raman spectra of the relaxor ferroelectrics in the single crystal Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 have been measured with the 90° scattering geometry in the wide temperature range between 100 K and 773 K and in the frequency range up to 1000 cm−1. It was found that above the diffuse transtition temperature about 270 K the Raman spectra are reproducible, whereas below 270 K, intensity of the peaks in the Raman spectra in the X(ZX)Y geometry is not reproducible in every run.
