Abstract
The temperature dependence of lattice parameters of YBa2Cu3Ox (x=6.95) was studied by X-ray diffraction in the range of 300-20 K. All three lattice parameters decreased linearly with decreasing temperature in the range of 300-130 K, and anisotropies in the thermal expansion coefficients were observed. The expansion coefficients along the a, b and c axes were 5.2×10-6, 9.2×10-6 and 1.57×10-5 (K-1), respectively. There was only a slight difference in their temperature dependencies in the region below 130 K, and lattice parameters a and b were nearly constant below the superconducting transition temperature.
