Abstract
Al x Ga 1− x Sb liquid-phase epitaxial layers were grown at 400°C. Photoluminescence (PL) measurements at various temperatures were carried out on the epitaxial layers. The energy of the band edge emission was evaluated from PL measurements. The experimental results were well fitted with the formula E g = E o–αT 2 (T + β) .
