Abstract
We studied the temperature and angular dependences of the EPR line width in [N(CH 3) 4] 2CuCl 4 crystals. The anisotropy of the line width at low temperature is explained by the dipole-dipole interaction between Cu 2+ ions. The T 6 dependence of the line width from 220 to 263 K is explained by the Raman process associated with the dipolar interaction. The T 9 dependence above 263 K is due to the Raman process through the spin-orbit interaction.
