Abstract

In Hybrid micro grid Renewable source offers a cost-effective and reliable solution for utilizing the power generation. As we are going to provide the combination of renewable energy sources with Energy storage system and diesel generator as a back-up System. For Wind and Solar energy (Wind Speed, Temperature and irradiance) were taken on annual and regional basis. Here we are going to consider four cases (Generation with respect to Load), by using Partial Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique on the basis of economic and reliability aspects to minimize the Cost of Electricity (COE) and to maximize Loss of Power Supply Probability (LPSP). Three regions are chosen for the techno-economic assessment of the Hybrid Micro grid. The performance of the hybrid micro grid considered in these three regions is assessed in two aspects economical and reliability aspects. Four Case studies are considered for the effective assessment of the micro grid performance under various circumstances. The contribution of the renewable is analyzed for a typical load Profile.
