Abstract

This article reviews practices on strategic planning between 2000 and 2005 in eight universities pertaining to the Chancellor Council having different governance regimes, property and orientation on educational projects. Research shows that universities make all efforts to better know the strategic planning process and use of management instruments developed all over the corporate management area. However, the complete analysis of different stages of strategic planning reveals some problems in implementation, monitoring and feedback.
