Abstract
Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women worldwide and with recent advancement in medicine and multidisciplinary management this heterogenous pathology is curable in more than 80% of early-stage cases. Ever since their discovery in the early 90’s Taxanes have been an important therapeutic agent for several malignancies, including breast cancer, yet recent studies have shown there is a risk of Taxane induces cardiotoxicity, leading to an important increase of morbidity and mortality.
