Abstract
In the article the authors considered a model of e-learning organization in a classical university. The article defines main stages of this process in light of modern tendencies in e-learning. It presents introduction of e-learning system to educational practice of a large university as a long and complex process which requires a comprehensive approach in its organization that includes several stages.

Рассматривается модель организации электронного обучения в классическом университете. 1-й этап: создана электронная информационно-образовательная среда вуза (совокупность электронных информационных и образовательных ресурсов, информационных и телекоммуникационных технологий, соответствующих технических и технологических средств, обеспечивающая освоение обучающимися образовательных программ или их частей, а также взаимодействие всех субъектов ЭО). Для организации электронного обучения и развития международных программ с применением дистанционных образовательных технологий в Томском государственном университете используются две платформы: система дистанционного обучения «Электронный университет» (http://edu.tsu.ru), внедренная в учебный процесс дополнительного образования с 2003 г., а также СДО «Электронный университет – Moodle»
