Abstract

This study aims to provide implications for future research on university organizations' performance management by analyzing research trends on performance management of Korean university organizations through integrated literature review, and analyzing research contents. A total of 23 domestic academic journal papers and degree papers on the performance management of university organizations were analyzed among papers published from 2002 to 2021 by the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS) of the Korea Educational Research Information Service. The conclusions made based on the main research results revealed in this study are as follows. First, it is necessary to conduct research on the effectiveness of the case or developed model, along with research on the introduction of the performance management system of university organizations. Second, it is necessary to conduct a study to develop a performance management model for the entire university organization by reflecting the characteristics of the university organization. Third, in conducting research on developing a performance management model of a university organization, it is necessary to develop a model that synthesizes the advantages of various models, not based on only one specific model.
