Abstract
A heterometallic trinuclear complex with monovalent platinum consisting of a [Pt 2Hg] cluster bridged by two μ 3-Cl atoms and another tetranuclear complex with monovalent palladium owning the structural core of open cubane-like [Hg 2Pd 2Cl 2I 2] framework were synthesized by self-assembly reactions.
