Abstract
Objective: For placental-mediated pregnancy complications there still is a lack of safe and effective therapeutic options of pharmacotherapy. As a water-soluble natural polysaccharide, pullulan has been intensively studied for medical applications including bio activator carrier and anti-cancer targeted drug delivery. In this study, pullulan was hydrophobized prepared nanoparticles with controlled shape by using dialysis method. The overall goal of this study was to synthesis a non-spherical drug delivery system targeting the placenta.
