Abstract
Dinuclear palladium(I1) complexes of the type [Pd 2Cl 2(μ-Cl)(μ-EAr)(PR 3) 2] (E = S, Se, Te; Ar = Ph, C 6H 4OMe-4, C 6H 4OEt-4; PR 3 = PBu 3 and PMe 2Ph) have been prepared and characterized. These complexes adopt a sym-cis structure in which phosphine ligands are trans to the bridging chloride.
