Abstract

The current response in the time domain was investigated in the low-temperature switching state of K0.3MoO3. The quantized stochastic steps and the regular oscillations with impulsive wave-forms were observed. The step in the current response presumably corresponds to that observed in TaS3 by Ong et al. Furthermore, intermittency was found in the current response, which shows that the effective inertia is important in the charge-density-wave motion.
