Abstract

This article was constructed from a bibliographic survey carried out during the professional master's course in the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching (IEMCI-UFPA). The aim is to analyze the work already published on the topic of domestic water quality with a theme for the teaching of mixture separation processes. This review followed as its main criterion the bibliographic analysis of works published in national events of great relevance for the area of Science Teaching and Chemistry, delimited in a certain temporal clipping. Based on the analysis collected with the survey, it was possible to trace relevant paths for research to seek to contribute to academic production, in order to bring new reflections on the use of the theme focused on citizen education.
