Abstract

Lasers are devices commonly utilized in beauty salons for aesthetic treatments. They are most often used for hair removal, scar leveling, hyperpigmentation, skin revitalization, as well as deleting dilated blood vessels and tattoos. The study aimed to analyze the interest of owners of cosmetology and aesthetic medicine salons, as well as their clients, in laser treatments used for excessive hair removal and skin revitalization. The study consisted of an anonymous survey of owners and employees of clinics where aesthetic treatments are performed. The most common laser used is the diode laser, operated by cosmetologists, mainly for excessive hair removal, and less frequently for skin revitalization.
