Abstract

Interdisciplinary care for the management of impacted teeth provides a holistic method of treating patients. Careful planning is necessary to reach the desired treatment goals. Mandibular canine impaction is less frequently encountered in practice compared to maxillary canine impaction and poses a challenge to the treatment. A 23 year old female patient came to deparment of Periodontics with chief complaint of deposits and irregularly placed teeth in front teeth region of upper and lower teeth region 6 months back and during orthodontic treatment It was observed that bilateral impacted mandibular canine seen .There was surgical exposure of lower right side canine required for further orthodontic treatment. There was periodontal and orthodontal collaboration for the given case. This case report gives detailed and proper surgical exposure rare impacted mandibular canine
