Abstract

This papers presents three carmina epigraphica from Narbonne and one from Aries and a study about the epitaph of Sextus Iulius Felicissimus from Aix-en-Provence. These epigraphic texts were chosen on behalf of their chronology (lsl century B.C. -1st century A.D.) and the social belonging of the dead ones, a Caesar's veteran at Narbonne and a slave at Arles. This study concerns the onomastic , the formulas and the more or less usual expressions used in the carmina.
