Abstract
ABSTRACT Identifying physical activity promoting opportunities within the university setting offers a promising avenue to enhance student veterans’ transition to a healthy civilian lifestyle. Using an asset-based, mixed-method approach that included surveys and focus groups with students and interviews with university stakeholders, we characterize the experiences and preferences of student veterans on our campus and highlight opportunities to support their physical activity and well-being, with an emphasis on centering student veteran voices in future planning.
