Abstract

High quality provision in the Early Years provides the best opportunity for positive developmental and later life outcomes for children. This article provides an overview of some of the recent changes and challenges within the Early Years sector, particularly in relation to practitioners accessing professional development opportunities. It outlines a strategic response supported by Glasgow Educational Psychology Service (GEPS) to help address this through the development and implementation of online learning modules. Evaluation and impact data is discussed, and implications for practice and next steps are considered.
