Abstract

ABSTRACTIn response to a cancellation of numerous journal subscriptions, Bradley University's Cullom-Davis Library added Copyright Clearance Center's Get it Now service in 2012. It was anticipated that this service, in combination with other document delivery services, ILLiad interlibrary loan service and the purchase of articles online directly from publishers would be used to alleviate the lost subscriptions by library users. This article attempts to answer that question by examining the usage of the canceled titles after the subscriptions were discontinued.
