Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of detecting the threshold level of contamination of partially vegetated soil. A multiplicative method for detecting soil contamination with hydrocarbons in the format of one pixel is proposed. Geometric averaging of the results of measuring the amount of hydrocarbons in the leaves, crown of vegetation and oil on the uncovered part of the site allows us to calculate the degree of contamination. The sensitivity of the meter was maximum during the measurement. Taking into account the specified threshold level of soil contamination, the device rebuilds its parameters so that the calculated and specified contamination indicators coincide. This allows you to detect areas with a threshold level of contamination with maximum sensitivity. This parameter is necessary to reliably determine the boundaries of soil contamination at a given threshold level.
