Abstract
In the article the reasons of large diversification in constructional solutions for tram track subgrade were determined. The definition of tram track subgrade was proposed. Obligatory rules of tram track subgrade design were analysed. A review and comparison of constructional solutions for tram track subbgrade used in Wrocław during last 25 years were made. In summary, positives and negatives of transformations were presented and the necessity of revision of obligatory rules was proposed.
