Abstract
We present the first full band structure calculation of the electronic states of a GaAs/AlGaAs supperlattice under strong magnetic fields using a new approach based on a pseudopotential method. Both the Landau level dispersion relations and the wavefunctions have been calculated. Strong nonparobolic effects and anticrossings are observed in Landau level spectra. The wavefunctions of the Landau levels show strong mixing between Γ and X derived states, especially near the anticrossing. The band structure effects on magneto-optical properties of the supperlattice are also discussed
