Abstract

In this paper, the method of generating the radicals from H2O with positive DC corona discharge and the influence of the pin-plane electrode system on SO2 removal efficiency in the process of SO2 removal with pulse corona discharge were experimentally studied. The following results are obtained: the yield of the radicals produced by H2O was increased by the pin-plane electrode system, and the SO2 removal efficiency was increased by 10%; The total SO2 removal efficiency achieved was above 90%.
