Abstract
The integrated monitoring system for disaster and accident prevention in railway passenger-dedicated lines (IMSDAP) is one of the subsystems for the high-speed railway integrated dispatching system, and is an essential equipment to ensure the transportation safety of the high-speed railway. Particularly against the disasters and accidents caused by the natural hazards such as earthquake, wind, rainfall, flood etc. or sudden event and intruding foreign objects, elevated rail temperature and so on, this paper proposes a scheme of framework structure, and overall functions, network connection, and data transmission of integrated monitoring system for disaster and accident prevention, which is specifically suitable for the operation model and geographical environment of Chinese high-speed railway and passenger-dedicated lines. This IMSDAP system is capable of automatically collecting, centrally managing and widely sharing disaster information and data. Besides, a simulation system has been developed. It is no doubtful that the research of the IMSDAP system will serve as a reference for the construction of Chinese high-speed railway.
