Abstract
The article is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding uralic geologist, scientist and educator Nadezhda Vladimirovna Vakhrusheva (1959– 2023). Her main works were devoted to the study of chromite-bearing ultrabasite massifs of the Ural-Mongolian Fold Belt. She devoted many years of her life to teaching at USMU. The life path and scientifc achievements of Nadezhda Vladimirovna are described.
