Abstract

The text addresses issues related to the eighth-grade exams for students with migration experiences in the Polish education system from 2019 to 2024. The first part of the article describes who these students are and presents statistical data on their presence in the Polish education system, including their participation in the eighth-grade exams. The next section classifies non-native students in Polish schools, considering their level of proficiency in Polish as a second language and the language of school instruction. The article also discusses the adaptation of the eighth-grade exam to meet the needs of these students.
