Abstract

In the article, the authors discussed the bilingual education of Ukrainian refugee children in Polish schools. After the outbreak of war in 2022, many Ukrainian children arrived in Poland, and some of them were registered in schools. To support these children, educational programs were introduced to assist them in learning the Polish language. In the program described in the article, the teachers used biliteracy as a new approach in language education. The completed project was awarded the European Language Label in 2023.
