Abstract

Clean surfaces of germanium and silicon are reconstructed as it follows from electron diffraction data. Models of superstructures on such surfaces are reviewed. On clean surfaces of germanium and silicon with certain orientations order-disorder and order-order phase transitions take place in superstructure at the temperature variations.
