Abstract
The relative reactivity of the amino groups of a number of asymmetric heterocyclic diamines in acylation reactions has been investigated. The degree of mutual interaction of the functional groups of the acid dichlorides of tere- and isophthalic acids has been determined under conditions approximating to those for polycondensation. On the basis of the data obtained, the nature of the distribution of the links in six polycondensation polymers and its dependence on the method of introducing the monomers have been investigated theoretically.
