Abstract

We have shown [1] that a ferromagnetic domain wall can have two configurations, one corresponding to an Ising domain wall (for large uniaxial anisotropy) and the other corresponding to a Bloch type domain wall. This change of configuration is a two dimensional phase transition, the order parameter being the chirality. In this paper, we want to study the structure and stability of a ferroelectric domain wall when two types of order are competitive, for example Ferroelectric and Antiferroelectric phase transitions.KeywordsPhase TransitionDomain WallOrder Phase TransitionFerroelectric PhaseEffective FieldThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
