Abstract: the article substantiates and defines the structure of managerial competence for future officers, comprising the following components: motivational (involving a sustained interest of the future officer in managerial activities based on humanism principles), cognitive (characterized by a cumulative knowledge base), functional (enabling the execution of managerial activities), pedagogical (demonstrating readiness to educate and nurture military personnel), and personal component (encompassing the formation of a set of professionally important qualities).
