Abstract

The article reveals the essence of such concepts as “competence”, “professional competence”, it is proved that the level of their theoretical and practical training is of great importance in the formation of the professional competence of future bachelors of the chemical and technological profile; qualitative characteristics of the student are justified, the formation of which will contribute to his successful mastery of a technical specialty; attention is focused on the need for formation of gnostic, design, diagnostic, communicative, informational and analytical functions in future bachelors of a chemical and technological profile in a higher education institution, and the role of these functions in the formation of their professional competence is revealed; the educational and professional program “Oil, gas and solid fuel processing technologies” of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, specialty 161 Chemical technologies and engineering (National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”); with the aim of individualizing the educational trajectory and forming the professional competence of future chemical-technological bachelors, selective academic disciplines that can be included in the catalog of university disciplines are proposed, and their expediency is substantiated.
